We actually don’t have many house rules apart from asking guests to keep the music down to considerate levels after 10pm. Being perched on top of a hill noise travels easily across to our neighbours. We have many speakers dotted around the ground floor to allow music to be heard easily without needing to blast it out from one point.

Also, we ask our guests to refrain from smoking inside the house. Each bedroom has a terraced area with outside seating and ashtrays.
